How Can We Help?

Assign a specific telephone operator to a user to make calls

With the VOIspeed telephone switchboard it is possible to assign to a user a specific telephone operator for outgoing calls.
To give an example, we can have the user Antonio go out with the Telecom socket and the user Andrea goes out with the Fastweb socket.

Open the Toolbox – Routing menu and create a new rule

Caller type: Internal

Calling number: ^ INTERNAL $
Number called: ^ PREFIX
Routing: to the desired gateway

Where INTERNAL is the user’s extension number¹, and PREFIX² is the prefix that identifies the category of calls (0, 3, etc.).

NOTE:

¹ if the users and rules to be configured are particularly numerous, it is preferable to “group” the extensions that use the same gateway so that they have numbers starting with the same group of digits

² A rule must be created for each outbound prefix

EXAMPLE 1: user 102 must go out with the “Voip A” gateway when he calls both landlines and mobile phones, while all other users use other gateways.

Name: Rule 102 Fixed
Caller type: Internal
Caller number: ^ 102 $? Exactly the extension “102”
Number called: ^ 0
Routing: Voip A

Name: Rule 102 Cell Phones
Caller type: Internal
Caller number: ^ 102 $? Exactly the extension “102”
Number called: ^ 3
Routing: Voip A

For other users it is sufficient to leave the prefixes in the LCR

EXAMPLE 2: users 102, 103, 104 must go out with the “Voip A” gateway when calling both landlines and mobile phones, while users 201, 202, 203 with must exit the “Voip B” gateway

Name: Rule 10 Fixed
Caller type: Internal
Calling number: ^ 10? All interiors starting with “10”
Number called: ^ 0
Routing: Voip A

Name: Rule 10 Cell Phones
Caller type: Internal
Calling number: ^ 10? All interiors starting with “10”
Number called: ^ 3
Routing: Voip A

Name: Rule 20 Fixed
Caller type: Internal
Calling number: ^ 20? All interiors starting with “20”
Number called: ^ 0
Routing: Voip B

Name: Rule 20 Cell Phones
Caller type: Internal
Calling number: ^ 20? All interiors starting with “20”
Number called: ^ 3
Routing: Voip B

NOTE: the rules created automatically through the LCR will be taken into consideration in the event that the desired gateway is not available. To avoid this behavior and thus make the use of the desired gateawy exclusive, it is necessary to delete the prefixes from the LCR page.
