How Can We Help?

A strong discharge is heard at the end of the IVR message

Sometimes we receive reports of this type: “I have configured some responders and a strong discharge is heard at the end of the IVR message“.
The original file does not have this defect and listening to it from the PBX it has no defects, but when the responder leaves for an incoming phone call, this download is heard at the end of the message.

The problem of “a strong discharge is heard at the end of the audio message” is related to the software with which the audio file was packaged. Some software (especially in a Mac environment) hang in the queue the XML information that the native software recognizes by ignoring it, but when it is played in the PBX’s SIP audio stream they cause noise. The only way to solve the problem is to avoid hanging this textual information at the end of the file, either through the options of the software used, if any, or by saving the file or creating it from scratch with another software (eg. Audacity or Goldwave).
