How Can We Help?
How to forward a call
The forwarding of a call from VOIspeed can take place with supervision or with blind forwarding: in the first case the recipient is called and the waiting call is forwarded after he has answered; in the second, the call is forwarded without notifying the interlocutor in advance.
FORWARDING WITH SUPERVISION
There are two ways to perform a supervised forwarding:
- when the call is in progress, click on the avatar of the recipient extension from the “Users” “Users” section to start a call to the user, the call in progress will be automatically put on hold; then click on the “Call forwarding” icon in the management panel of the call on hold.
- While the call is in progress, type the name or surname of the recipient extension in the search bar; find the recipient extension, click on the “Call” function key in the “Actions” section, and the call in progress will be automatically put on hold. Finally, click on the “Call forwarding” icon in the management panel of the waiting call.
BLIND FORWARDING
There are 2 ways to perform a blind forwarding:
- drag and drop the active call over the desired extension, which can be selected on the “Users” page
- select the “Call forwarding” function key in the call management panel, then type the name or surname of the recipient extension in the search bar and consequently click on the “Blind forwarding” icon in the “Actions” section
N.B. Calls can also be forwarded to third party numbers and not only to VOIspeed extensions. In order to do so, it is necessary to have a congruous number of lines or contemporaneity equal to the calls to be supported at the same time.
